Cover-ups

These were early experiments in covering objects up or boxing them in by their own images.

In one piece, within a designated area both the surface and the objects that fall within it are covered by photographs of themselves.

In the other piece objects are enclosed in a wire space frame. Photos are taken at intervals over several weeks and suspended from the frame. The objects are progressively boxed in by their own images. The images record the ways in which each of the different objects has changed over time.
