These pieces were carried out on poster hoardings on Deansgate station in Manchester. Though they were based on pre-planned processes, they were also dependent on an interaction with the location and the people passing through it, in order to create photographic images which became increasingly complex over a period of time.
The visual outcomes, which were partly determined by the chance elements of the process, were intended far less as gallery images than as interactive processes, taking place in a public place and for the benefit of the people who saw them there.
