Marieta nació en 1925 : Antes de la invención de la penicilina : Antes de que se diera a las mujeres el derecho al voto en su país. (Ver mas)
Tenía 11años cuando comenzó la Guerra Civil y 14 cuando terminó.
Tenía 28 años cuando se casó.
Tiene tres hijos; dos hijos y una hija.
Su esposo murió cuando ella tenía 64 años. Ha vivido 36 años sin él. Vive con su hija.
Ahora tiene cuatro nietos y tres bisnietos.
Ha vivido en el mismo pueblo durante toda su vida. Sale todos los días a reunirse con amigos… aunque a su edad muchos de sus contemporáneos ya han muerto.
Es muy querida y respetada por toda su familia.

She was 28 years old when she married.
She has three children; two sons and a daughter.
Her husband died when she was 64. She has lived 36 years without him. She lives with her daughter.
She now has four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She has lived in the same small village for the whole of her life. She goes out every day to meet with friends… though at her age many of her contempories have now died.
She is greatly loved and respected by her whole family.
